About People’s Internet

The People’s Internet onAir hub is a human-curated, AI-assisted network of hubs that bring together online communities of experts, students, organizations, and other stakeholders to:

  • LEARN more about data ownership, Decentralized Social Network Protocols, and related applications;
  • DISCUSS key issues and innovations in posts and aircasts – all types of livestreamed zooms;
  • ENGAGE in evolving knowledge related to the People’s Internet while also exploring ways to collaborate and implement solutions to current challenges.

A key onAir feature gives members control where and how their content and conversations are stored and shared – free from paywalls, algorithmic feeds, or intrusive ads. onAir provides a platform where anyone interested in the People’s Internet can participate as long as they follow the curation and moderation guidelines overseen by our nonprofit collaborators. We are presently in discussions with Project Liberty to become the lead nonprofit overseeing these guidelines.
